  1. Day 1 Canada – Tokyo

    Depart from Canada to Tokyo with Air Canada.

  2. Day 2 Tokyo

    Arrive, meet and transfer to by reserved taxi to hotel. Overnignt in Tokyo.

  3. Day 3 Tokyo Morning Tour

    Morning Visit Imperial Palace – Nijubashi Bridge,Tsukiji Outer Fish Market, Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street. Free for leisure in the afternoon. Make your own way back to hotel. Overnight in Tokyo.

  4. Day 4 Tokyo - Nikko - Tokyo

    Morning transfer to Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal.Visit Nikko Toshogu Shrine. Enjoy a Japanese style lunch. Afternoon visit Lake Chuzenji, Kegon Falls. Overnight in Tokyo.

  5. Day 5 Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone

    Morning transfer to Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal.Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Mt. Fuji 5th Station. Enjoy a Japanesestyle lunch. Afternoon visit Lake Ashi by cruise. Reaching Hakone-en & take Mt. Komagatake Ropeway. Arrive at hotel for overnight in Hakone.

  6. Day 6 Hakone - Kyoto - Nara Kyoto

    Morning transfer to Odawara Station. Take the Shinkansen Bullet Train to Kyoto Station. Enjoy a Western-style lunch.Tour with visit to UNESCO World Heritage Site Todaiji Temple (Great Buddha); Nara Park; UNESCO World Heritage Site – Kasuga Taisha Shrine; and Nara Nagomikan(gift shop). Arrive at hotel. Overnight in Kyoto.

  7. Day 7 Kyoto

    Today’s tour consists of visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites – Nijo Castle and Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion); followed by Kyoto Imperial Palace (visiting except on Mondays)/ Kitano-tenmangu Shrine (visiting on Mondays only). Enjoy a buffet lunch. Afternoon, visit Fishimi Inari Taisha Shrine; Sanjusangendo Hall, UNESCO World Heritage Site – Kiyomizudera Temple. Arrive at hotel. Overnight in Kyoto.

  8. Day 8 Kyoto - Hiroshima - Kyoto

    Transfer to Kyoto Station to take the Shinkansen Bullet Train to Hiroshima Station. Continue to Miyajima to take boat transfer to UNESCO World Heritage Site – Miyajima Island and Itsukushima Shrine.Take a ship to

    Miyajimaguchi and transfer to visit UNESCO World Heritage Site – Peace Memorial Park and Peace Memorial Museum. Lastly, visit UNESCO World Heritage Site – Atomic Bomb Dome.Transfer back to Hiroshima Station to take Shinkansen Bullet Train back to Kyoto Station. Return to hotel. Overnight in Kyoto.

  9. Day 9 Kyoto - Tokyo

    Free time until departure. Early evening Transfer to Kyoto Station to take Shinkansen Bullet Train to Tokyo Station.Transfer to hotel. Receive departure information for next day. Overnight in Tokyo.

  10. Day 10 Tokyo - Canada

    Free day in Tokyo to enjoy at leisure until departure.Transfer from Hotel to Airport for homeward flight from Tokyo to Canada.

Travel insurance is compulsory for all Intrepid travellers and should be taken out at the time of booking. You must provide proof of your travel insurance on the first day of your trip; you will not be able to join the trip without it.

While we do include information in our Trip Notes about visa requirements, we always recommend that passengers check with their local embassy as visa rules can change without warning. Embassy websites in your home country will always have information about requirements, visa costs and will provide the required forms. If you are uncomfortable with the visa process, you can visit a travel agent who can arrange these for you at a cost.
